AdaptHealth Corp. (AHCO) said Friday it closed the acquisition of the Patient Care Solutions business from McKesson Corp. (MCK) and named Rodney Carson as president of the newly formed AdaptHealth Patient Care Solutions.

AdaptHealth agreed to acquire the business in November. AdaptHealth said in November it expects the total investment, including restructuring costs until the business is fully integrated on AdaptHealth's platform in the latter half of 2020, to be about $30 million.

The provider of home medical equipment said the deal adds urological and ostomy products and increases its footprint in areas like wound care, breast pumps, incontinence supplies, and diabetic care.

Mr. Carson most recently was president and chief executive of CCS Medical. Prior to that, he was president of operations of MDLIVE, a provider of telemedicine services.
