Credit Suisse Group AG said Tuesday that it has named Goldman Sachs Group Inc.'s executive David Wildermuth as its new chief risk officer.

Mr. Wildermuth will join the group on Feb. 1, 2022, at the latest and Joachim Oechslin will keep serving as interim chief risk officer until then, the Swiss bank said.

Mr. Wildermuth has been working at Goldman Sachs since 1997. He was appointed deputy chief risk officer in 2015 and has also been managing director, partner and chief risk officer EMEA, Credit Suisse said.
