Dennis Yoder, MT(ASCP)MBA, Director of Laboratory Services,
commented, "Labette Health evaluated several blood management
systems and selected Wyndgate's transfusion management software for
several reasons. SafeTrace Tx has the comprehensive safety
features, centralized transfusion service and application
capabilities we need to manage critical patient history and special
transfusion requirements for our hospital. The system will also
streamline processes, reduce waste and increase efficiency within
our operations. Additionally, we were impressed with Wyndgate's
ISBT 128 compliance features which will allow us to seamlessly
manage orders and blood product inventory from our primary product
provider, The American Red Cross." SafeTrace Tx is uniquely
designed to fully support the full scale of transfusion services
from enterprise-wide centralized facilities to small, individual
hospital laboratories. Advanced functionality in SafeTrace Tx, such
as electronic crossmatch, automated patient special needs tracking
and antigen/antibody functionality, will assist Labette in matching
patients for transfusions. SafeTrace Tx is also used by Labette's
primary blood supplier, Central Plains American Red Cross, further
reinforcing their choice. William Scott Dustin, Vice President of
Sales and Marketing at Wyndgate Technologies, commented, "Labette
Health recognized its need for a system designed to enhance patient
safety, streamline processes and continue to keep it abreast of
changing regulations. Our SafeTrace Tx product is a recognized
