GM to Build Silverado Electric Pickup at Factory Zero

General Motors Corp. on Tuesday said it would build a Silverado
electric pickup truck at its Factory Zero assembly plant in Detroit
and Hamtramck, Michigan, as well as the GMC Hummer EV SUV.
The company said the pickup will be its first Silverado electric
pickup truck.
GM said it plans to deliver more than 1 million electric
vehicles globally by 2025
The company also said its Factory Zero is undergoing a complete
renovation and retooling, "the largest ever for a GM manufacturing
facility."
