NEW YORK, Oct. 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Cohen & Steers Dividend Majors Fund, Inc. (NYSE:DVM) announced today that it commenced repurchasing outstanding common shares as part of a share repurchase program. The program, which authorized the repurchase of up to 10% of the fund's outstanding common shares, has resulted in repurchases of 73,700 shares during the period October 8, 2008 through October 13, 2008. Repurchases are made at management's discretion and no assurance can be made that management will repurchase additional shares.
