Boeing Honors Citi with 2015 Supplier of the Year Award

Citi has been chosen by Boeing as a 2015 Supplier of the Year.
Boeing recognized Citi for its outstanding performance in
delivering high-quality products and services and thought
leadership in providing commercial card solutions. Citi is the
first bank to win this coveted award from Boeing.
Boeing recognized its 12 top-performing suppliers worldwide,
from a base of 13,000 suppliers. Citi was chosen because of the
quality of its products and services, and the value it creates for
Boeing, the world’s largest aerospace company and a leading
manufacturer of commercial jetliners and defense, space and
security systems.

The Boeing commercial cards program, one of the services
provided by Citi, is extensive, covering 71,000 cardholders across
26 countries and has allowed Boeing to improve control, compliance
and efficiency.
Citi Commercial Cards in particular was recognized because of
the continuous strong leadership it provided in helping Boeing
deliver a best-in-class cards solution, which also was applied to a
B2B/ePayables flow. Citi received the award during an April 13
ceremony that was one of the 2016 Boeing events marking the start
of the company’s second century.
