Evotec SE said Friday that it will receive a payment of $26 million from Bristol Myers Squibb Co. as part of an expansion of the two companies' neuroscience collaboration.

The collaboration's portfolio is being expanded by two new drug discovery projects and a target-based program for further development, the German biotechnology company said.

Evotec's collaboration with U.S. pharmaceutical company Bristol Myers Squibb, initiated in 2016, focuses on identifying treatments for a broad range of brain diseases, Evotec said.
