Glowpoint, Inc., (NASDAQ: GLOW) the world's leading
broadcast-quality IP-based video communications service provider,
today announced that one of the country's most respected national
law firms has selected GlowPoint's IP-based video communications
services to replace its current ISDN network connectivity in nine
locations around the country. With multiple offices in New York,
California, Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey and Washington, DC,
the firm employs close to 500 lawyers in the practices of business
and finance, personal and fiduciary law and litigation. Under the
multi-year deal, the customer chose to upgrade from its legacy ISDN
network service provider to GlowPoint's "All You Can See" Unlimited
Video Calling Plans based on ease-of-use, cost effectiveness and
the availability of GlowPoint's unique IP-based video communication
features and services. With its IP-based network and applications,
GlowPoint delivers advanced services such as Video Call Mailboxes,
live "000" Video Operators, 'Lisa,' the GlowPoint Video Call
Assistant and Video Meeting Rooms that are changing the way people
communicate via video in and out of the conference room. The firm
intends to increase its use of video communications for both
internal and external client communications. The deal was closed as
part of GlowPoint's second quarter sales activities. "GlowPoint
continues to expand its presence in the legal community by
providing law firms the unique services and applications they need
to make video an integral communications tool - including
telephone-like features for spontaneous video communication with
clients, remote video depositions and testimony, staff training and
partner meetings" said David Trachtenberg, chief executive officer
of GlowPoint. "As with many of our customers, this newest law firm
recognized the quality, value and ease-of-use of GlowPoint's
IP-based video communication solution versus their old ISDN
network." About GlowPoint Glowpoint, Inc. (NASDAQ: GLOW) is the
