ADRs End Lower; Renalytix, BP Among Shares Actively Traded

International stocks trading in New York closed lower on
Wednesday. The S&P/BNY Mellon index of American depositary
receipts fell 0.6% to 166.24. The European index tumbled 0.9% to
142.28. The Asian index fell 0.1% to 230.78. The Latin American
index decreased 1.6% to 207.79. And the emerging-markets index
notched down 0.1% to 402.25.
Renalytix AI PLC's ADRs rose 6% on Wednesday after the company
said it was in an agreement with Atrium Health, Wake Forest Baptist
Health and Wake Forest School of Medicine to improve kidney health
and reduce kidney disease progression.
BP PLC's ADRs fell 2.5% on Wednesday after the company, along
with Eni SpA, signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding to
explore combining their upstream portfolios in Angola into a new
joint venture.
JD.com Inc. rose 1.2% after the Chinese e-commerce company said
its profit and revenue rose for the first quarter, with an
increased contribution from service revenues.
