Air Liquide SA said Friday that it is setting out new targets for carbon emissions in its value chain, aiming to have by 2035 its top 50 customers committed to carbon neutrality by 2050.

The French industrial-gases company also set a preliminary target of having within two years at least three-quarters of its top 50 customers committed to reaching carbon neutrality by 2050.

Air Liquide said its investment process for all new projects will take more into account biodiversity-assessment criteria by 2024. The company plans to have an aggregated biodiversity indicator by 2025.
