WILMINGTON, Del., Oct. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- DuPont Titanium Technologies today announced a price increase for all DuPont(TM) Ti-Pure(R) titanium dioxide grades sold in Europe, Middle East and Africa regions. Effective Oct. 15, prices for DuPont coatings, plastics, specialty, paper and laminate titanium dioxide grades will increase by 150 Euros per tonne in all Euro markets of Western and Central Europe and North Africa regions and by $120 per tonne in the dollar markets of Eastern Europe, Russia, Middle East and Sub-Sahara Africa regions. "Raw material and input costs continue to escalate as energy costs remain elevated and extremely volatile and shortages of key raw materials have occurred due to force majeure events," said E. "This increase is supported by a strong global demand for titanium dioxide as well as the need for reinvestment economics to meet future customer needs."
