FEV Eaton Vance Florida Municipal Income Trust

Eaton Vance announced today a name change for Eaton Vance Florida Plus Municipal Income Trust (AMEX: FEV). Effective immediately, FEV will be known as �Eaton Vance National Municipal Income Trust.� FEV�s investment objective and policies remain unchanged. This name change is intended to reflect FEV�s increased exposure to municipal obligations of issuers outside the State of Florida, consistent with a policy change adopted in December 2007. As indicated in FEV�s December 12, 2007 press release, the Board of Trustees of FEV may in the future consider other actions, potentially including a merger of FEV into a similar closed-end Eaton Vance national municipal bond fund. Eaton Vance Management, FEV�s investment adviser, is a subsidiary of Eaton Vance Corp., which is listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol EV. Through its subsidiaries, Eaton Vance Corp. manages funds and separate accounts for individuals and institutional clients. Eaton Vance and its affiliates had $159.1 billion in assets under management on April 30, 2008.
