Explanation of Responses:
(1)	As a result of the spinoff of the issuer by UTC, the reporting person holds Otis shares in our former parent's 401(k) plan. This plan has advised participants that it will mandatorily start to sell the Otis shares held in it on April 3, 2021.
(2)	Each Restricted Stock Unit, including dividend equivalents that accrue during the vesting period, represents a contingent right to receive one share of Otis common stock.
(3)	The Restricted Stock Units and the Stock Appreciation Rights vest ratably with respect to one-third of the award on each of the first three anniversaries of the date of the grant.
