Plug Power Inc. (NASDAQ:PLUG), a leader in providing energy
solutions that change the way the world moves, announced that Food
Logistics, the only publication exclusively dedicated to covering
the movement of product through the global food supply chain, named
Philippe Boisvert to its 2019
Food Logistics Champions:
Rock Stars of the Supply Chain award.
Plug Power develops and manufactures hydrogen and fuel cell
(HFC) technology, a zero-emission fuel, for global industrial
e-mobility applications. With this drop-in replacement for
batteries for fleet vehicle applications, customers are improving
efficiency, while reducing the company’s carbon footprint
significantly. HFC-powered trucks allow Plug Power’s global
customers base, including Walmart, Amazon, Carrefour, and FedEx to
maximize efficiency, streamline operations, and improve fleet
uptime for electric forklifts, pallet jacks, AGVs, and delivery
vans.
As director of field application engineering, Philippe Boisvert
assists in leading Plug Power in its development, manufacturing,
and deployment of high quality, cost-effective, and reliable
hydrogen fueling systems. Mr. Boisvert’s expertise has influenced
the hydrogen fueling products Plug Power offers to customers –
including engineering solutions for large scale liquid hydrogen,
small scale reformation or delivered gas, which enable food
logistic companies of multiple sizes to adopt fuel cell forklifts.
Boisvert has a deep understanding of the logistical challenges and
opportunities that warehousing fleet vehicles face, helping to
increase operational efficiency and corporate sustainability for
several leading food logistics companies in the U.S. and
Europe.
“With a clear vision to the creation of a clean and sustainable
future, Plug Power is thriving. We owe that success to our
employees who work hard every day challenging the status quo in
order to build cutting edge technology and provide the best service
to our valuable customers,” said Andy Marsh, CEO, Plug Power.
“Identifying and bringing in talented people like Philippe Boisvert
and the hundreds of other individuals who work for us, and are
excited about the future of hydrogen has always been a top priority
for us. And it’s a special moment for all of us at Plug Power when
we’re able to stop and recognize those individuals for their
dedication.”
Mr. Boisvert comments, “Building an industry from scratch is no
small feat. Once facilities switch to fuel cell technology, it’s
our job to strive toward continuously improving performance and
reducing costs to help our customers meet their own ever-changing
efficiency and sustainability goals.”
The Food Logistics Rockstar of Supply Chain award launched in
2015 and each year an individual from Plug Power has been named to
the list for their efforts in driving innovation within the
industry. Past Plug Power recipients include Andy Marsh, CEO; Tim
Cortes, VP of Hydrogen Energy Systems; Dustan Skidmore, VP of

our industry.
“Our 2019 Food Logistics Champions: Rock Stars of the
