“Chimata” or the
“Company”) is
pleased to announce the X-ray diffraction (XRD) results for
selected samples from its recently completed drilling program at
its flagship Kamativi Tailings Lithium Project in Zimbabwe. The aim
of the analysis was to identify and quantify all minerals present
with a specific focus on the lithium bearing minerals. The
results confirm Spodumene as the predominant Lithium bearing
mineral species.
Ten composite samples, selected by MSA Resource geologists as
part of their 43-101 Resource Statement process, were prepared
from drill holes across the Kamativi Tailings Storage
Facility (the “Tailings”) as shown in Figure
1, and were submitted to Geolabs Global (Pty) ltd
(“Geolabs”) for X-Ray Diffraction
(“XRD”) analysis. Geolabs, a company located in
Centurion, South Africa was founded in 2015 provides services in
high-resolution mineralogical, metallurgical and chemical testing
services to the mining industry. Geolabs has a fully equipped lab
which enables them to test a wide range of ore types, with
particular recent focus on the Southern African Lithium sector,
