WALTHAM, Mass., Nov. 9, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The nonprofit
advocacy group Human Rights Campaign has named Raytheon (NYSE: RTN)
as a 2018 "Best Place to Work" for lesbian, gay, bisexual,
transgender and queer employees. The Washington, D.C.-based HRC gave Raytheon a
perfect 100 percent rating for the thirteenth consecutive year.
HRC is the largest LGBTQ civil rights group in the U.S. The
Human Rights Campaign Foundation, the educational arm of the HRC,
rated businesses for its annual Corporate Equality Index. The CEI
evaluates LGBTQ-related policies and practices, including
non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner
benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency
programs and public engagement with the LGBTQ community.
