Matthews International Capital Management Appoints New CFO

Matthews International Capital Management, LLC, the largest
dedicated Asia investment specialist in the United States,
announced the appointment of David A. Hartley as the firm’s Chief
Financial Officer.
Hartley has more than 25 years of combined financial,
operational and business experience. Prior to joining Matthews in
2011, he served as Chief Accounting Officer at Invesco Ltd.,
responsible for corporate accounting and financial reporting to the
firm’s Senior Managing Directors and Board of Directors, and all
public reporting. Hartley had previously been Chief Financial
Officer of Invesco's Institutional and Global divisions and served
in a variety of roles at Invesco after joining the firm in
1991.
In this newly established position, Hartley will be responsible
for managing all of Matthews’ financial functions. “We are

Hartley began his career with KPMG in London in 1982 and five
years later joined the firm’s Atlanta office, where he worked as a
Senior Manager in the international auditing practice. He received
a B.S. in Economics and Accounting from the University of Bristol
in the United Kingdom and is a Chartered Accountant.
