TRANSACTIONS IN OWN SECURITIES

Whitbread PLC ("Whitbread") announces today that it has purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 76 122/153 pence each on the London Stock Exchange and Multilateral Trading Facilities from Morgan Stanley & Co. International Plc ("Morgan Stanley"). Such purchase was effected pursuant to instructions issued by Whitbread on 18 October 2023, as announced on 18 October 2023:

Whitbread intends to cancel the purchased shares.

Since 18 October 2023, Whitbread has purchased 4,619,535 shares at a cost (excluding dealing and associated costs) of GBP149,881,284.76.

Following settlement of the above transaction, Whitbread will hold 12,454,718 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 201,085,913 ordinary shares in issue.

These purchases are the last purchases to be made under the irrevocable programme between Whitbread, on

the one hand, and Morgan Stanley, on the other hand, announced on 18 October 2023, as that irrevocable programme has been completed.
