                         Interim Results Announcement


Wellington Holdings, the manufacturer of specialist polymer seals for
engineering and industrial applications, will announce its interim results for
the half year ended June 30, 2001 on Thursday 27 September 2001.

An analysts meeting to discuss the Group's results and future outlook will be
held at 9.30am on 27 September at the offices of Binns & Co., 16 St Helen's
Place, London, EC3.
