                   ("Strategic Thought Group" or "the Group")

                               Trading Statement

Strategic Thought Group, the software and services provider which was admitted
to AIM in July this year is pleased to make a trading update for the first half
of the year to 30 September 2005 prior to entering a close period.

Trading during the first half has been strong and management expects that profit
before tax for the period will be in excess of #0.8m. This performance is well
ahead of the #0.5 million profit before tax achieved in the corresponding period
last year.

A significant component of the first half result has been completion of
contracts for Active Risk Manager, the Group's enterprise risk management
product, for licences, support and services. In particular, NASA signed an
agreement covering the first year of a major three year roll out program.

The Directors are optimistic about the Group's prospects for the second half of
its financial year. There is a strong sales pipeline for the third and fourth
quarters and, as has historically been the case, the Group expects its results
to be weighted towards the second half of its financial year.

The Group's interim results are expected to be announced at the end of November
2005.

Peter Morgan, non-executive Chairman, stated:

has shown that it has the product, the knowledge and the international scope to
be a leading player. The Group continues to win new customers in an expanding
number of vertical markets."
