AGM trading update

RTC Group Plc will hold its Annual General Meeting at 12 noon today. At the meeting, S L Dye, will take the Chair, and will make the following statement:

"As anticipated in our statement on 28 April 2020, due to the COVID-19 situation, some disruption has been experienced in Q2.

We continued to provide contract workers to the infrastructure and railway transportation sectors but at reduced levels from Q1. General UK recruitment and smart-meter installation activities were significantly impacted by the lockdown and our hotel and conference centre remained closed in line with Government instruction. Internationally our activities remained largely unaffected.

The Directors believe that the number of contract workers required in the infrastructure and railway transportation sectors will increase in Q3 and smart-meter installation activity will recommence.

The Board still believe that it is too early to quantify the impact of COVID-19 on revenues and operational profits for the full calendar year 2020. The Company's interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2020 will be published on or around 3 August 2020 when a further update will be issued."
