Investment Trust Plc.

15.42% of the issued class of capital (previously 0%).

Also on 21 February 2001, Aberdeen Asset Managers Limited sold 3,000,000
Ordinary shares on behalf of Aberdeen Preferred Income Trust Plc.

Aberdeen Preferred Income Trust Plc now holds nil Ordinary shares.

The total number of shares managed by Aberdeen Asset Managers Limited and its
associated companies remains 5,100,000 Ordinary shares, representing 26.21% of
the issued class of capital.
