                               Directorate change

Charles Bithell has today announced his resignation as Group Finance Director of
Parkwood Holdings plc.


Mr Bithell, who has expressed his intention to pursue other interests, by
agreement, is expected to remain in full service to the end of his contract
period in March 2007. A replacement full time Group Finance Director will be
recruited as soon as possible.


As previously announced, the interim results for the period ended 30 June 2006
will be issued on Monday 11 September.
