As announced in July 2006, Keith Hamill has now retired as Chairman of Luminar
plc. The board of Luminar would like to record its thanks to Keith for his
contribution to the Company over the last 6 years.

Further to its announcement on 15 November 2006 regarding the appointment of
Alan Jackson as its new Chairman, Luminar plc is pleased to announce that today
Alan Jackson has been appointed to the board.
