Libertas Capital Group plc ("Libertas" or the "Company") 
Continued progress on refinancing and restructuring 
Libertas announces that significant progress continues to be made with the 
restructuring and refinancing of the business. It notes in particular that: 
 
 
 
 
  *  Substantial progress has been made with the refinancing of the business 
 
 
 
  *  A comprehensive review and enhancement of the company's business model and 
  trading platform is underway to adapt to the challenging market conditions, 
  including the following actions- 
 
1. An agreement has been entered to sell Libertas Capital Dubai Limited 
("LCD"), including the transfer of net working capital requirement, for a 
consideration of GBP581,000 
 
2. Libertas Capital Asia Limited ("LCA") is being closed in an orderly manner 
and its trading licence has been allowed to lapse 
 
3. An agreement has been entered to sell the Company's contract research 
business, Equity Growth Research 
 
4. Ongoing rationalisation of the business including reduction of headcount in 
the US and London 
 
 
  *  The group's nominated adviser and broker status remain in place with continued 
  strong support from clients and institutions 
 
 
 
In view of not being able to find a new Nomad within the requisite timescales, 
the quotation of the shares of the Company, currently suspended, will be 
cancelled with effect from tomorrow. The Board of Libertas intend to seek 
readmission after completing the significant changes to the business and 
providing   full information to shareholders by way of an Admission Document. A 
further update will be given to shareholders in due course.
