                                 NEW APPOINTMENT


Libertas Capital Group plc ("Libertas Capital"), AIM: LBR), the international
financial services firm, announces that Frank Dullaghan has been appointed Group
Chief Financial Officer, with immediate effect. Roger Barlow is stepping down as
CFO to concentrate and develop his business interests in the North West of
England where he lives. Roger will continue as a part-time Director of the
Company and, in particular, will ensure a smooth and seamless transition of his
responsibilities.



Jakob Kinde, Group Chairman, commented "I wish to thank Roger for his valuable
contribution over the last three years in the development of Libertas Capital.
We wish him well for the future and are pleased that he will continue to serve
us as a part-time Director."
