Jupiter Second Split Trust PLC (`the Company') has received notification under
the Transparency Directive from Rensburg Sheppards Investment Management Limited
(`Rensburg') that following a transaction in the Geared Growth shares Rensburg
has an interest in 2,661,291 Geared Growth shares representing 2.80% of that
share class.  In aggregate Rensburg's holding represents 8.68% of the total
issued share capital of the Company.
