preliminary  results  for the year  ended  31  March  1998  on
Tuesday, 14 July 1998.

The  principal activities of IG are the design and manufacture
of gift wrapping paper, greeting cards, Christmas crackers and
other  decorative  accessories. IG is a major  player  in  its
sector  and  is  the UK's leading supplier  of  private  label
greetings products to major multiples.
