On 28 October 2008 the Company sold half of its put option on the FTSE 100 (ex
top 20) Index and reduced its equity holdings by an equivalent amount. After
taking into account the �2.5m repayment of bank debt announced earlier today
this now leaves a portfolio comprised as follows:-

Equities - �18m

Bonds - �0.4m

Cash - �12.2m

Put option - �4.6m

It is intended that some of the above cash reserves will be used to repay the
remaining �8.6m of bank debt.
