A FURTHER �30,000 RAISED FOR DONG MAO HAO GOLD PROJECT VIA PLACING OF SHARES TO
                                 MARKET MAKERS

Central China Goldfields plc is pleased to announce that, further to
yesterday's announcement, it has agreed to issue a further 1,000,000 shares to
market makers in order to ease liquidity. The additional placing will raise �
30,000 to be used at the Company's Dong Mao Hao gold project.

The shares are being issued at 3p and application has been made for the shares
to be admitted to AIM. It is expected that trading will commence on 28 August
2008.
