GOLF CLUB HOLDINGS PLC (GCH): APPOINTMENT OF FINANCE DIRECTOR

We announce the appointment of David Gray as Finance Director of
the company with effect from 1st May 1998.  Mr Gray has been
granted an option to purchase 1.5 million shares in GCH at 2
pence per share exercisable from 1 May 2001 to 1 May 2008.

Mr Gray has not been bankrupt or been the subject of any public
criticism by a statutory or regulatory authority and there have

time, or within the twelve months preceding such receiverships
or liquidations.
