Exercise of Share Options

Mr A C Morrison an executive director of Forth Ports PLC today (25th April 2005)
exercised the following share options over ordinary shares of 50p in the capital
of the company pursuant to the Forth Ports PLC Executive Share Option Scheme
(the relevant performance criteria as set out in the Share Options having been
duly met):

Mr A C Morrison today (25th April 2005) sold the undernoted shares (including
those exercised as aforesaid) as follows:

After 22 years of service to the Company, Mr Morrison is retiring from the Board
