    Transactions in BDH and MBFG shares


    Burani Designer Holding N.V. ("BDH" or the "Company") announces that on 22 May 2008 it has purchased 5,000 ordinary shares in the
Company at a price of EUR 5.25 per share for a total consideration of EUR 26,250.
    As a result of this transaction, the Company currently holds  687,290 ordinary shares in treasury. 
    The Company has ordinary shares in issue of 74,916,526 (excluding shares held in treasury). 

    Burani Designer Holding N.V. ("BDH" or the "Company") announces also that between  15 and 22 May 2008 it has purchased 45,585 ordinary
shares in Mariella Burani Fashion Group (MBFG) at an average price of EUR 17.01 per share for a total consideration of EUR 775,232.
    As a result of these transactions, BDH currently holds 18,291,949 ordinary shares of MBFG, representing 61.16 % of the total outstanding
shares of MBFG.
