                          Transactions in MBFG shares



Burani Designer Holding N.V. ("BDH" or the "Company") announces that between 22
and 29 April 2008 it has purchased 69,394 ordinary shares in Mariella Burani
Fashion Group (MBFG) at an average price of Euro 16.25 per share for a total
consideration of Euro 1,127,436 and that it has also sold 150,000 MBFG shares at an
average price of Euro 16,20 for a total consideration of Euro 2,430,000.

As a result of these transactions, BDH currently holds 18,246,364 ordinary
shares of MBFG, representing 61.01 % of the total outstanding shares of MBFG.

Burani Designer Holding N.V. today also announces that it has renewed, for a
period up to 30 July 2008, the put and call option agreement over 280,000 MBFG
shares first announced on 14 January 2008. All other terms of the original
agreement are unchanged.
