                               BRAMMER SIGNS TWO

                       3-YEAR EUROPEAN SUPPLY AGREEMENTS


Brammer plc, the European services group, today announced the signing of two
3-year European maintenance, repair and operations ("MRO") service agreements
with GKN and the Jefferson Smurfit Group.

The scope of product supply to both customers will initially include Bearings,
Linear Motion, MPT, Seals, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Greases, Adhesives, Gearboxes
and Electric Motors.

The agreements cover over 180 plants in some nine countries including key
production centres in France, Germany, Spain and the UK.

In each case Brammer will bring to its customers the benefits of inventory
reduction, volume led price improvements and indirect savings on the management
and administration of inventory.


Ian Fraser, chief executive of Brammer, said:

tremendous new sales opportunities for Brammer across all our European
businesses.  They represent an important step forward in Brammer's strategy to
build the leading pan-European single source MRO service to Europe's leading
