Swallowfield Plc announces that on 8 December 2004 it was informed that on 2
November 2004 Hunter Hall sold 50,000 ordinary shares in the Company and on 23
November 2004 sold a further 25,000 ordinary shares in the Company.

Hunter Hall is now interested in 328,133 ordinary shares representing
approximately 2.92 per cent. of the issued share capital in the Company.  As a
result of the above sales Hunter Hall has ceased to be a Substantial Shareholder
in Swallowfield Plc.
