announces its results for the third quarter of 2013 (3Q13). Except
where stated otherwise, the operating and financial information is
presented on a consolidated basis and the amounts are expressed in
Brazilian reais, in accordance with the International Financial
Reporting Standards (IFRS) Issued by the International Accounting
Standards Board (IASB) and the accounting practices adopted in
Brazil. Comparisons are with the
second quarter of 2013 (2Q13) and the third quarter of 2012
(3Q12).
KEY 3Q13 RESULTS
Total gross revenue before consolidation: R$ 264.1 million, 9.1% higher on 2Q13 and 13.4%
more than in 3Q12;
Consolidated net revenue: R$ 190.6
million, 7.5% higher on 2Q13 and 12.1% higher than in
3Q12;
Net revenue from the domestic market: R$
107.8 million, 12.8% higher than 2Q13 and 18.3% up on
3Q12;
Net revenue from the export market: R$
82.8 million, 1.3% higher on 2Q13 and 4.9% increase over
3Q12;
Fras-le Brazil Exports (FOB): US$ 23.0
million, 4.1% less than on 2Q13 and 5.5% under
3Q12;
Sales in foreign markets (exports and units abroad):
US$ 37.8 million, 4.0% less than 2Q13
and 1.3% under 3Q12;
EBITDA: R$ 32.8 million, 8.9%
higher on 2Q13 and 38.3% more than in 3Q12;
Consolidated gross profit: R$ 59.3
million, 24.1% improvement over 2Q13 and 49.4% more than
3Q12;
Consolidated net income: R$ 14.3
million, 14.9% increase over 2Q13 and 66.7% higher than in
3Q12.
