Equipment to support live and file-based audio broadcasts DULUTH,
Ga., Dec. 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Wegener Corporation (NASDAQ:

data distribution networks worldwide, today announced it has
received an order for $534,000 to upgrade an existing background
music network. The order consists of WEGENER's Compel® network
control system and Unity® 202 enterprise audio receivers. WEGENER's
background music solution is optimized to manage multiple clients,
music channels and audio insertions over satellite. A network
operator can customize many aspects of music playout for individual
or groups of sites, such as: front panel music selection, frequency
of insertions and volume control. It will support networks of all
sizes including 100,000+ sites. The Unity 202 supports the new
standard for satellite demodulation technology DVB-S2. "WEGENER's
