Rolls-Royce Holdings Launches New Engine Family for Business Aviation

Rolls-Royce Holdings PLC (RR.LN) said on Monday that it has
launched a new series of engines, which will be the sole engine for
Bombardier Inc.'s (BBD.A.T) latest business jets, the Global 5500
and Global 6500 aircraft.
The U.K. engineering company said that the Pearl 15 engine is
the first of a planned engine family for business aviation and that
it is currently undergoing tests at Bombardier's flight-test center
in Wichita, Kansas, with a planned entry into service at the end of
2019.
Rolls-Royce said that to date it has delivered close to 1,700
engines to Bombardier.
