--Rolls-Royce Holdings PLC is discussing a possible partnership with Aero Engine Corporation of China to jointly supply engines for a new wide-body aircraft planned by Russia and China, Bloomberg reports citing unnamed sources.

--The companies talked earlier this year about the possibility of cooperating to supply the engine for the new CR929 wide-body aircraft, which is set to be jointly produced by China's Commercial Aircraft Corp. and Russia's United Aircraft Corp., Bloomberg says.

--Responses to a request for proposals for the turbine are due next month, Bloomberg reports.
