Repsol SA (REP.MC) said Monday that its investment fund has
taken a 17% stake in Spanish 3D-printing startup Recreus for an
undisclosed amount.
The Spanish energy company is researching the use of modified
polymers to be used as raw materials for 3D printing, which aligns
with Recreus's focus on the development of 3D printing
materials.
Repsol's Corporate Venturing fund has capital of 85 million
euros ($96 million) to invest between 2016 and 2020 in companies
developing technologies related to Repsol's core business.
