(EURONEXT: ARCAD), the international design, consulting,
engineering and management services company, announced today that
during the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders that was held
today a number of reappointments and appointments have been
approved. The reappointments are those of Mr. Rijhard van Tets,
Chairman of the Supervisory Board, for a new term of four years and
Mr. Friedrich Schneider, member of
the Executive Board, also for a four year term. New appointments
are the previously announced addition to the Executive Board of Mr.
Renier Vree in the position of Chief
Financial Officer, and the appointment of Mr. Ian Grice to the Supervisory Board, both for a
period of four years.
Renier Vree (45) joined Royal
Philips Electronics NV in 1987. In several positions, he gained
extensive international financial management experience. He was
also responsible for a sizable number of acquisitions. From 1994
through 2002 he worked as financial director/CFO of several
business units in the United
States and Asia.
Subsequently, he led global efficiency improvement programs for
Philips. As of 2004 he was CFO of Philips Lighting.
Mr. Grice (57) is a civil engineer and through his career was
mainly active in the infrastructure and buildings section. From
1981-1995 he worked at John Mowlem plc on establishing and
developing the management contracting business, the continental
European business and the successful facilities management
activities of Mowlem in the U.K. From 1995-2003 he was the
Executive Board Director and from 2003-2008 Chief Executive Officer
of Alfred McAlpine plc, a UK based
Support Services Group. He was also responsible for the
international activities in Asia
and the Middle East. Under his
leadership the first PFI (Private Financed Initiatives) projects
for roads and hospitals were gained.
