Anglo American Appoints Shell's Elisabeth Brinton to Be Nonexecutive Director

Anglo American PLC said Tuesday that it has appointed Elisabeth
Brinton, executive vice president of renewables and energy
solutions at Royal Dutch Shell PLC, to be a nonexecutive
director.
The FTSE 100 mining major said Ms. Brinton will join the board
effective March 1.
"Elisabeth Brinton's experience of developing clean-energy
strategies around the world, with a clear commercial focus on the
potential for digital technologies, will bring additional insights
to our board discussions," Chairman Stuart Chambers said.
Anglo American is seeking to achieve carbon neutrality across
its operations by 2040.
