TORONTO, Oct. 5, 2013 /CNW/ - Today, snowboarding all-star and Olympic gold medal hopeful Mark McMorris will hit the snowboard section of the Yonge Street Sport Chek store to help consumers shop for this season's hottest snowboarding gear.

The event comes one day after McMorris, one of the top snowboarders in the world and current Winter X Games titleholder in slopestyle, announced his partnership with Sport Chek in anticipation of 2014 Sochi Games.

Mark will be in-store at 12 p.m. and available for five minute interviews to speak about the partnership and the "Shop With a Pro" experience.
