            Appointment of Directors to Teather & Greenwood Limited


The Company is pleased to announce the appointment with immediate effect, of
four new directors to Teather & Greenwood Limited, the Company's principal
operating subsidiary.  These appointments strengthen the senior management team
and coincide with recruitment in the research, market making, dealing and
corporate finance departments.

Paul Fincham becomes Managing Director, Corporate Finance, Investment Funds.  He
has been a director in that department for four years.  He was previously Head
of Corporate Finance for SG Country Funds at Societe Generale Investment Bank.
Paul began his career in the City as a solicitor with Lawrence Graham
specialising in investment trusts.  He is a graduate of Cambridge University.

Ron Cochran becomes Head of Dealing.  He has been with the Company for three
years as an Institutional Dealer, having accumulated over thirty years
experience in the Financial Services sector.  This included spells as a Dealing
Director at Walker Cripps Weddle Beck and positions at Fidelity Investments.

Russell Jackson becomes a Director, after three years as a Market Maker with the
Company, having previously held a similar role at KBC Peel Hunt & Co., where he
specialised in UK smaller companies and AIM stocks.

Philip Hopkins becomes a Director Investment Funds.  He has worked in Investment
Funds Sales with the Company for two years and has a total of ten years
experience in the Investment Funds Market including spells at Bear Stearns,
Baring Securities and Banco Santander in a Sales (Emerging Markets Country
Funds) role.

Commenting on their appointments, Ken Ford, Chief Executive, said:

Fincham, Ron Cochran, Russell Jackson and Philip Hopkins have all been major
