Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On May 17, 2019, Mr. Robert A. Peiser resigned as a
member of the board of directors of SunCoke Energy, Inc. (the
Company
), and as Chair of the Compensation Committee thereof. Mr. Peisers resignation is solely due to personal reasons, and does not arise from any
disagreement with the Company, or its management, on any matter relating to the Companys operations, policies or practices, or regarding the general direction of the Company.
