Nokia CEO Rajeev Suri to Step Down; Pekka Lundmark Named Successor

Nokia Corp. said Monday that President and Chief Executive
Rajeev Suri is stepping down from the role after more than a decade
and that Pekka Lundmark will replace him.
The company said that Mr. Lundmark will start his new role on
Sept. 1. He is currently President and CEO of Fortum Oyj.
Mr. Suri indicated earlier to the board that he was considering
stepping down from his role at some point in the future, provided a
solid succession plan was in place. He will leave the role on Aug.
31, but will remain with the company until Jan. 1, 2021 as an
advisor.
