ADRs End Higher, Carnival Trades Actively

International stocks trading in New York rose Tuesday.
Carnival plc was among the companies with ADRs that traded
actively.
The S&P/BNY Mellon index of American depositary receipts
rose 0.9% to 163.78. The European index increased 0.6% to 138.18,
the Asian index improved 1.1% to 231.35, the Latin American index
rose 1.3% to 209.79 and the emerging markets index increased 1% to
396.61.
ADRs of Carnival plc rose 7.1% to $18.95. Carnival Corp. &
plc said it expects 65% of its fleet capacity by the end of this
year across eight of its cruise line brands to restart guest cruise
operations. Total operating capacity for Carnival Corp. by the end
of 2021 would be at almost 75% when also taking into account
Carnival Cruise Line envisioning having its whole fleet return to
service by the end of this year.
