Boeing Co. and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration
said they now are targeting an uncrewed test launch of the
Starliner space capsule in May.
The company and NASA decided to postpone the demonstration
flight this past summer after valves on the Starliner, which is
ultimately meant to fly astronauts to the International Space
Station and back, became stuck.
Boeing said it now plans to fly another Starliner vehicle for
the uncrewed test flight while it continues to analyze what
happened with the valves used in the Starliner vehicle that
couldn't fly this summer.
