G.research and Gabelli Asset Management are hosting a unique
line-up of industry and legal professionals to address several
fundamental issues facing the Funds industry today.
The conference will start by addressing the dynamics around Rule
852(b)(6) and its impact on taxes for fund investors in mutual
funds and exchange traded funds (ETFs). Zachary Mider of Bloomberg
will then convene a panel led by Elisabeth Kashner of FactSet and
discuss her research work about “Heartbeat trades” in the ETF
marketplace.
Ben Johnson of Morningstar and Douglas Yones of the NYSE are
joining as additional participants to the “Active ETF Innovators
Panel” which will provide an outlook for product development in
transparent and the recently announced Precidian semi-transparent
ETF.
